Last night we celebrated the Eve of the Feast of Corpus Christi. It was a good evening and a joy to welcome the new(ish) Bishop of Lichfield, Bishop Michael Ipgrave as our preacher. The weather was kind to us, which enabled the outdoor procession of the Blessed Sacrament to take place and Bishop Michael preached a well received sermon. On Wednesday 14th June we look forward to welcoming the Bishop of Lichfield, Bishop Michael Ipgrave to be the preacher at our Eve of Corpus Christi Mass. After the Sung Mass there will be a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, concluding with Benediction and then a buffet in the Church Hall, including a barrel of beer from the local microbrewery which Fr John blessed earlier this year. #CorpusChristi #BishopofLichfield #Mass #Benediction
